Dinner with 16 Longhorns
What is Dinner with 16 Longhorns?
Dinner with 16 Longhorns is a unique event designed to bring the UT campus community together over dinner and meaningful conversation. Dinner with 16 Longhorns is an opportunity for students to explore commonalities and differences, build connections with their peers, and meet people they may not typically encounter on campus.
What to Expect
Selected participants will attend a dinner off-campus with a group of their peers. During this dinner, participants will be prompted to engage in meaningful dialogue by a staff facilitator.
Participants can expect to build connections across difference with their peers, engage in self and group reflection, and build their confidence to engage in difficult conversations beyond the program, all while enjoying a catered meal.
The program staff will work with those selected to coordinate travel to and from the dinner.
How to Participate
The next round of dinners will take place in February 2026. A short application form will be posted at the start of the spring semester.
