Dinner with 16 Longhorns
What is Dinner with 16 Longhorns?
Dinner with 16 Longhorns is a unique event designed to bring the UT campus community together over dinner and meaningful dialogue. Students will build connections with peers, explore the common challenges of navigating difficult conversations, and develop confidence in applying their unique skills beyond the program.
What to Expect
Selected participants will attend a dinner off campus with a small group of peers. A staff facilitator will guide the conversation using prompts designed to promote community building, self-reflection, and collective exploration into how we may best navigate difficult conversations and build communities of belonging.
Participants can expect to connect across differences, engage in individual and group reflection, and build their leadership confidence that will inspire continued application beyond the dinner - all while enjoying a catered meal.
Program staff will work with those selected to coordinate travel to and from the dinner.
