Monthly Volunteer Awards

Each month, UT Austin's Volunteerism and Service-Learning (VSL) office recognizes one individual student and one student organization making a consistent, positive impact through service. These Monthly Awards celebrate the people behind the projects- those who demonstrate impact, consistency, and dedication in service to the UT Austin and Central Texas communities.

Winners receive a recognition prize, an official certificate, and a feature on Volunteer UT's social media. All currently enrolled UT students and registered or sponsored student organizations engaged in service are encouraged to apply or nominate others.

Applications are accepted via GivePulse from the 1st to the last day of each month. Winners are notified by the second Monday of the following month.

Volunteer of the Month

Recognizes an individual UT Austin student for outstanding service. Nominees should demonstrate a strong and consistent commitment to community engagement. Learn More About Volunteer of the Month & Apply.

Organization of the Month
