Report a Misconduct Incident

Student Conduct and Academic Integrity in the Office of the Dean of Students contributes to the educational mission of The University of Texas at Austin by upholding the University's community and academic standards. Our team supports a safe and supportive campus community by fostering self-reflection, promoting civility, and encouraging personal responsibility.

Our staff represent the dean of students in cases of potential student misconduct. When we're notified of a possible violation, our staff investigates as a neutral third party, using a fair and objective process. Our process includes opportunities for students to present their account of events and to appeal decisions and recommendations from our team.

The student conduct process is an internal process of the University, not a legal process, and is separate from any civil or criminal proceedings.
