Consultations
All currently enrolled UT Austin students can request a free consultation with our attorney. Consultations are scheduled for 30 minutes to discuss your legal issue and provide guidance for your situation.
In your consultation, we will:
- Review your specific legal needs based on your situation,
- Answer questions to the best of our ability,
- Identify options, including potential costs and/or benefits, if known,
- Help determine a path forward, if available; and
- Determine what follow-up support is needed, if any.
We don’t offer in-court representation. For these needs, we’ll make referrals to other legal resources, services, and information.
Available Consultation Topics:
- Consumer Protection
- Contracts
- Criminal Law
- Debt Collection
- Employment
- Landlord-Tenant Law
- Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) Contracts
