Purpose: To develop leadership that make a positive impact o the world around them. To achieve this, the Roden Leadership Program commits to: 1.) Develop the skills necessary to address real world problems; 2.) Stimulate creativity and new perspectives to promote innovative contributions to society; 3.) Provide experiences and resources that will enable scholars to initiate and drive changes; 4.) Emphasize the importance of promoting leadeship in others; and 5.) Ensure that Roden Scholars place integrity at the forefront of all their actions.

Membership: To apply for the Roden Leadership Program, one must: Be a student in good standing in the College of Engineering, Have completed two long semesters at the University of Texas at Austin, and Have demonstrated leadership, teamwork ability, and integrity.

Functions: Roden Scholars work in a variety of ways to promote leadership in the College of Engineering and throughout the University.
