Young Conservatives of Texas - University ChapterWe as Young Conservatives of Texas, dedicate ourselves to the preservation of the American Dream and a strong and free America. YCT members are not merely Republicans or Democrats, they are driven by conservative principles and are devoted to promoting them in our everyday encounters with students, faculty, and staff.The Young Conservatives of Texas fight liberal advancement on campus and throughout the state by distributing literture, sponsoring speakers, attending lectures, holding debates, planning campus events, working for campaigns, and working with the Legislature.
Young Life College FellowshipTo provide a college fellowship open to any student at UT Austin. Meetings on Sunday evenings from 9-10:30PM. Dates vary.
YOUR DIL - Longhorn Chapter INACTIVETo raise awareness on campus about the state and extent of illiteracy in Pakistan and to promote the cause of battling illiteracy among underprivileged children in Pakistan, especially females.Promote events that YOUR DIL Austin would host. Host any kind of event that would promote the cause of battling child illiteracy in Pakistan.
Youth CourtOur official purpose is to provide a support network for at-risk youth in Austin especially concerning issues of education, discipine, domestic violence, and other legal issues affecting Austin's youth.The organization's two main activities will be starting a Youth Court at Webb Middle School and providing tutoring and mentroring programs with local organizations through United Way.
Youth for Ron Paul INACTIVETo promote the presidential candidacy of congressman Ron Paul on campus.There will be meetings, flyering, sessions, and speaking events.
