Have three members of your organization participate the "Blanton Museum of Art: Creativity and Close Looking program. This is a two-part program that supports both asynchronous and synchronous engagement. To receive credit, you must participate in both parts.
Part One: Prior to the synchronous experience, have three members of your organization watch the Introduction to our digital series called Thinking through Art — and select one other video in the series to experience together. Each video employs a work of art in the Blanton collection to invite analytical and creative responses, including a guided activity.
Part Two: During the synchronous Zoom sessions (December 2 and February 17), Blanton museum educators will lead the session and build on skills, look closely at artworks together, and have an opportunity for some creativity yourself. This workshop is relevant to all!
