Summer Student Organization Fairs
The Summer Student Organization Fairs, hosted in partnership with Longhorn Orientation, are an exciting opportunity for student organizations to meet new students and participate in summer orientation. Each opportunity helps introduce your student organization to new students and create an engaging and welcoming environment for new Longhorns!
2025 Summer Student Organization Fair Information
- A student organization fair will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the second day of each freshman orientation session in the William C. Powers Student Activity Center (WCP).
- Online registration is open for all active student organizations.
- Your org. can participate in up to 5 sessions (there are 7 sessions total).
- Please log into HornsLink to register (RSVP) for each fair you would like to table at. *ONLY 1 STUDENT FROM EACH ORG. NEEDS TO REGISTER.

Longhorn Orientation Student Organization Socials
Student Organization Socials are an opportunity for active student organizations to host their own unique event on the first day of each freshman orientation. The socials are a great opportunity to showcase your organization and connect with incoming students. The event is open to all freshmen during their new student orientation from 9:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Requirements for Longhorn Orientation Student Organization Socials
- The activity must be held on Speedway. Space will be assigned in order to prevent conflicts.
- The activity must be alcohol free.
- The activity must be held at least 5 sessions of freshman orientation (there are 7 sessions total).
- The organization must have at least 2 members available to lead the activity each session.
- The organization must be prepared to cover all costs of the activity. No funding will be provided. Materials, such as stationary supplies and first-aid items, may be provided upon request.

Spring Student Organization Fair
The Spring Student Organization Fair is an opportunity for organizations to begin their spring recruitment efforts. This is a great chance for students to explore various student organizations at UT and get involved on campus. Registration opens near the end of the fall term.
Party on the Plaza
Party on the Plaza (POP) is a welcome-back-to-campus party for the entire UT community hosted by RecSports. This exciting event includes a student organization fair, where students can meet representatives from over 300 student organizations and learn the many ways you can get involved on campus!
