Spring Student Organization Fair

The Spring Student Organization Fair is an opportunity for organizations to begin their spring recruitment efforts. This is a great chance for students to explore various student organizations at UT and get involved on campus! This year's Spring Student Organization Fair take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. in William C. Powers Student Activities Center (WCP). We have added an additional date due to the amazing number of organizations that would like to participate this year on Thursday, February 1, 2024, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. in WCP Ballroom on the 2nd Floor.

Summer Student Organization Fairs

The Summer Student Organization Fairs, hosted in partnership with New Student Services, are an exciting opportunity for student organizations to meet new students and participate in summer orientation. Each opportunity helps introduce your student organization to new students and create an engaging and welcoming environment for new Longhorns!

2024 Summer Student Organization Fair Information

• A student organization fair will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the second day of each freshman orientation session in the William C. Powers Student Activity Center (WCP).
• Online registration is open for all active student organizations.
• Please log into HornsLink to register (RSVP) for each fair you would like to table at. *ONLY 1 STUDENT FROM EACH ORG NEEDS TO REGISTER.

New Student Orientation Student Organization Socials

• Active student organizations are invited to apply to host their own unique event on the first day of each freshman orientation. session from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Please plan an interactive activity or event.
• This is a great opportunity to showcase your organization and connect with incoming students. The application for student organization socials is open on HornsLink.
• After completing this form, please sign up for one 30-minute general virtual consultation with Sade Dawson-Love between April 29 and May 10. Please do not select any other staff members that may be available. Your request will be denied if you do not follow directions.
• Applicants will be contacted via email with participation confirmation information after the consultation.
• Location: Space will be assigned by Student Activities staff in order to prevent location conflicts along Speedway and inside UTC. Planning an outdoor activity is ideal!

Requirements for New Student Orientation Student Organization Socials

• The activity must be held on campus. Space will be assigned in order to prevent conflicts.
• The activity must be alcohol free.
• The activity must be held at least 3 sessions of freshman orientation. (There are 7 sessions total).
• The organization must have at least 5 members available to lead the activity each session (to accommodate the large number of students that will be at orientation).
• The organization must be prepared to cover all costs of the activity. No funding will be provided. Materials, such as stationary supplies and first-aid items, may be provided upon request.

Your organization must have completed annual registration and be in good standing to register. Please call Student Activities at 512-471-3065 if you have questions about annual registration or your organization's status.

Party on the Plaza

Party on the Plaza (POP) is a welcome-back-to-campus party for the entire UT community hosted by RecSports. This exciting event includes a student organization fair, where students can meet representatives from over 300 student organizations and learn the many ways you can get involved on campus!
