Programs and Org Fairs

Student Activities coordinates programs and events for student organizations. Some of these are designed to recognize and award student organization success; others provide opportunities for student organizations to recruit new members; and still others help student organization leaders further develop their skills.

Organization Fairs

Student organization fairs are held at key times during the year to provide student organizations with an opportunity to outreach and connect to potential new members. More information is available on the Student Organization Fairs page.

Pillars of the Forty Acres

Through the Pillars of the Forty Acres, the Office of the Dean of Students recognizes student organizations whose activities embody the Core Values of The University of Texas at Austin. Student organizations who achieve Distinguished status in the Pillars of the Forty Acres are eligible to apply for a Swing Out Award, cash drawings and free publicity.

Evening of the Stars

The Evening of the Stars is an annual celebration honoring student organizations and student leaders for their accomplishments over the past year.
