Purpose: 1) Conduct activities which promote the general welfare of graduate students; 2) facilitate graduate student communication and inter- action; 3) gather and disseminate information pertinent to graduate students; 4) to represent the views of graduate students to the University community and the community at large; and 5) provide effective representation to appropriate bodies relating to graduate students.
Membership: Each representative must be a UT graduate student in good standing and working toward a degree in the area he/she represents. Students, faculty, and staff at The University of Texas at Austin.
Functions: 1) Distribution and compilation of Graduate Guide; 2) Who's Who selection; 3) production of special seminars on topics of interest to graduate students; 4) investigation of graduate students' areas of concern; 5) graduate orientation co-sponsor. MAI 2403 G2000
