Council Communities

Councils focus on community service, academics, leadership development, and supports positive collaboration within their community. Explore each council to learn what makes our sorority and fraternity community unique.
Affiliate Leadership Circle
- Affiliate Leadership Circle (ALC) is comprised of registered student organizations that share the organization category of sororities and/or fraternities. During the expansion phase, an organization first connects with Sorority and Fraternity Life and applies to become an Affiliate Leadership Circle organization. Most, but not all, ALC organizations will eventually petition to join a governing council after establishing as an affiliate organization. Affiliate Leadership Circle organizations receive the resources and benefits associated with being an officially recognized SFL organization.
