Victim Services
Student Emergency Services supports students who have been or know someone who has been a victim of a crime on or off campus. Our office helps students understand normal reactions to crime, available reporting options, and available support.
Who is a victim or survivor?
We want any student who has experienced a crime to feel comfortable using our services. Our staff can support victims of any crime, including:
- Theft of a wallet / computer / bike
- Sexual Harassment
- Sexual Discrimination
- Sexual Assault
- Intimate / Family Violence
- Burglary
- Physical Assault
- Stalking
Mandatory Reporting
Our office is a mandatory reporting unit for some crimes and incidents, with the exception of the advocate. Although we are required to report some incidents, our staff will explain what we must report so you are fully informed as you share your incident. You control how much information you provide to us and we provide resources to help you begin to manage the incident.
