UT Outpost Satellites

UT Outpost Satellites help make food more accessible across the Forty Acres! Different Satellites offer “grab-n-’go” style food and snacks. These locations are perfect for a snack in between classes or a quick easy-to-make meal for lunch. No appointments are needed, Walk-ins welcome! Please check each satellite’s location, hours, and eligibility.



Satellite Locations

Biomedical Engineering Building

  • Location: Biomedical Engineering (BME) near 5.202 suite
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m; available other times to students with UT ID access to the building
  • Eligibility: This satellite primarily serves students of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the College of Pharmacy

College of Education

  • Location: George I. Sánchez Bldg, SZB 2.110.
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Closed weekends and university holidays.
  • Eligibility: The COE satellite primarily serves COE students but is open to all UT students.
  • Note: The COE satellite provides only career clothing for students. In addition, students must check in at the front desk to be escorted to the career closet.

College of Liberal Arts

  • Location: Patton Hall (RLP) ground floor.
  • Hours: Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. The College of Liberal Arts (COLA) satellite is open during regular office hours.
  • Eligibility: The COLA satellite is open to all liberal arts students.

College of Natural Science

  • Location: Painter Hall (PAI) 5.40A (inside the PAI 5.40 wellness center)
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Eligibility: The College of Natural Sciences (CNS) satellite pantry primarily serves students of the College of Natural Science

First-Year Experience Office

  • Location: First-Year Experience Office, Jester Center (JES), room 115A
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • Eligibility: The First-Year Experience satellite pantry primarily serves pregnant and parenting students.
  • Note: This location primarily provides diapers, wipes, and formula for students with young children.

LBJ School of Public Affairs

  • Location: Sid Richardson Hall (SRH) 3.364 third floor kitchen.
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., UT ID required outside of these hours.
  • Eligibility: Open to all students with UT ID access to the building.

Perry-Castañeda Library (PCL)

School of Nursing

  • Location: School of Nursing, 3.302, UT ID required.
  • Hours: Open: Monday – Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed weekends and university holidays.
  • Eligibility: Open to all students with UT ID access to the building.
  • Note: In addition to food, the Nursing School’s satellite provides career clothing and scrubs for their students.

Texas Leadership Education and Development (Texas LEAD)

  • Location: William C Powers, Jr. SAC 3.104 in the Texas LEAD lobby.
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Eligibility: Open to all students.

UT for Me – Powered by Dell Scholars

  • Location: Flawn Academic Center (FAC) 2.116 Student Space.
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. The UT for Me satellite is open during regular office hours.
  • Eligibility: The UT for Me satellite pantry primarily serves UT for Me, EMERGE and Impact Scholars.
