Longhorn Wellness Center

The Health Communication Intern’s project will focus on creating health education content that can be utilized on @healthyhorns social media and other Longhorn Wellness Center communication platforms. The intern will be responsible for creating an organized calendar of content (social media graphics, copy, key messages) focused on health topics that are relevant given time of year.

• Create health promotion messages for social media channels
• Assist with refreshing the Longhorn Wellness Center’s Guard Your Goods campaign, centered on promoting HPV vaccination
• Assist in health education communication projects related to the Longhorn Wellness Center healthy sexuality programming (materials creation and updates)
• Propose new ideas for ways Longhorn Wellness Center can promote programs and services to students through outreach on campus
• Edit, develop, and produce digital and print communication materials relevant to LWC programs and services
• Provide student perspective and feedback on current LWC communication and marketing initiatives
• Potential work on other communications projects as need arises.
