Student Government Scholarships
Student Government and University Co-Op Rebecca H. Carreon Scholarship
Student Government and the University Co-Op have partnered to create the Student Government and University Co-Op Rebecca H. Carreon Scholarship for current students who have contributed to the University community and have financial need. One hundred percent of the profits from boot sales are generously donated by the University Co-Op into the Student Government Rebecca H. Carreon Scholarship Fund.
Scholarship Criteria
All applications will be evaluated by the Student Government Endowments Board on the basis of need and merit with specific emphasis on the following components:
- Overall financial need
- Contribution to the University
- Organizational involvement
- Job / work involvement
- Cumulative GPA
Applicants must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate, or graduate student, including doctoral students, at the University.
Students who are currently serving in an elected or appointed Student Government position, as well as those serving on the SG Endowments Governing Board are not eligible to apply.

Eligible students are required to submit the application form linked below. The deadline to apply for the 2019-2020 UT Student Government and University Co-Op Rebecca H. Carreon Scholarship is October 11, 2019.

Student Government Endeavor Fund Scholarship
The Student Government Endeavor Fund is aimed to alleviate some of the financial burden of college life and help transfer students maximize their personal growth and University of Texas experience.
Scholarship Criteria
All applications will be evaluated by the Student Government Endowments Board on the basis of need and merit with specific emphasis on the following components:
- Overall financial need
- Contribution to the University
- Organizational involvement
- Job / work involvement
- Cumulative GPA
Current transfer students who have completed at least one but no more than three long semesters at UT Austin and who have demonstrated exemplary leadership experience and have financial need are eligible to apply.
Students who are currently serving in an elected or appointed Student Government position, as well as those serving on the SG Endowments Governing Board are not eligible to apply.

No scholarship recipients were selected as the application process was cancelled due to the COVID-19 campus closure.
