Safety Education
In order to continue to create a safer UT Community, and in accordance with Texas Education Code, Section 51.9361, the Office of the Dean of Students provides the Safety Education Program for student organizations. The Safety Education Program connects student organizations to risk management, prevention, and emergency resources. Registered and sponsored student organizations are required to complete the Safety Education Program annually, however, every UT community member is encouraged to attend the Safety Education Officer Workshop.
For the 2023-2024 academic year, Safety Education Officer Workshops will be offered both virtually and in-person. More information about how to access the workshops can be found on the Complete the Program page.
