Develop a 3-year Strategic Plan to guide the development, implementation and evaluation of the DoS Research Institute.
Develop a research-to-practice model between academics, student services and community-based agency that advances new opportunities for research partnerships and professional development, as well as evidence-based foundations for developing programs and services.
Design and sustain interdisciplinary professional development programs to enhance the knowledge and capacity of university-wide faculty, administrators, graduate students, and student affairs professionals for improving student learning and development.
Identify and establish collaborative, interdisciplinary partnerships to promote current and emerging DoS applied and translational research and professional development initiatives.
Communicate the value-added nature and contributions of DoS to students at The University of Texas at Austin, and contribute to theory, programs and services through dissemination and communication initiatives.
Identify and participate in grant writing and external funding opportunities to promote continued growth, as well as the exploration, development and evaluation of empirically validated programs and services.
