UT Marketplace: Event Logistics

- LOCATION: West Mall on the University of Texas at Austin Campus (see campus map)
- DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, March 31, 2010 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- PARKING: The San Antonio University parking garage is located at 2420 San Antonio Street between W. 24th and 25th Streets. The UT Marketplace staff will validate parking in the San Antonio parking garage for one vehicle per registration.
- CHECK-IN: Please check in upon arrival. A designated check-in table will be located on the Northeast corner of the West Mall in front of the stairs to the Main Building (see see UT Marketplace Locator Map (pdf)).
- TABLES: One 6-foot table and two chairs will be provided for each $750.00 registration fee. You must provide a sign or banner for the table identifying your company/organization name. Organizations with a display larger than 6'x6' will need to be assigned specific locations and assessed an additional fee. Two organizations may split the base registration and 6-foot table if they choose. Organizations may not split a display space larger than 6'x6'. - REPRESENTATIVES: A 6'x6' display area may only have four organization representatives total, including an area that is being shared between two organizations.
- ELECTRICITY: Vendors that require electricity for their display will be assessed an additional $50 fee. Individual generators are not permitted. Please contact Susan Buckenmeyer for details at UTAustinMarketplace@austin.utexas.edu or 512-471-3065.
- REFRESHMENTS: Food and beverages are available for purchase in the Texas Union (adjacent to the West Mall), at the food court in Dobie Mall, or on Guadalupe Street.
- RAIN: The event will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. If it rains then it will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010. If it rains on Thursday, April 1, 2010 then the UT Marketplace will be moved to the patio area of the Flawn Academic Center. This is a covered but not enclosed area.
- REFUNDS: A $500.00 refund will be made if cancellation is received in writing by Wednesday, March 24, 2010. No refunds will be given in the event of rain.
- ACCESSIBILITY: Student Activities and Leadership Development will do its best to honor special accommodation requests. Information on wheelchair accessible routes will be provided upon request.
