To expose students to state-of-the-art earthquake engineering research and design practices, as well as to provide an additional means of communicating UT research findings to other students and to the industry.

Student member of the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute.
Functions:
The Chapter will invite knowledgeable lecturers to speak at Chapter functions. These functions will be open to anyone interested in the lecture topic.
