How Do I Get Involved?
Getting involved in campus life at a place as large as The University of Texas at Austin can seem like an overwhelming challenge. However, there are many resources that make it easier for you to find an organization that meets your needs.
- Our Student Organization Database is the best way to research student organizations. You can search organizations by keyword, alphabetically, or by organization type. This database provides information about organizations including organization type, purpose and activities, and contact information about the organization.
- Student Organization Fairs are held in the summer and fall to provide an opportunity to get information about various organizations and meet students from hundreds of organizations all at once.
- Finally, you can learn about opportunities to get involved on campus informally by talking to other students, hanging out at the West Mall, and looking for fliers about organizations that will interest you.
