Sound Equipment

The Student Organization Center maintains sound equipment for use by registered student organizations for the West Mall Rally Space. If you have any questions about this system, please read the information below or contact the Student Organization Center (SOC).

West Mall Sound System

To have access to the West Mall sound system, you must already have a West Mall Rally Space outdoor space reservation. Please note, the sound equipment may ONLY be used in the West Mall Rally Space location. An authorized member of your organization must check out the key from the Student Organization Center (SOC) on the day of the reservation, no earlier than 11 a.m. The $10 fee is due when the key is picked up and a UT ID will be taken. Don't forget to lock the sound system securely in the Main Building after you use it! Once the system is secured in the Main Building, the key must be returned to the SOC the same day after the event.
