- UTeach
UTeach
UTeach-Liberal Arts represents a collaboration between UT Austin's Colleges of Liberal Arts and Education to transform secondary school teacher certification from the ground up. Students benefit from an innovative program whose design is based on the work of a task force comprised of public school teachers, recent graduates working as teachers and UT Austin faculty. Program designers surveyed and interviewed teachers and experts from across the state to research what best prepares an undergraduate to teach English, Social Studies or a language other than English in middle and high schools today. UTeach-Liberal Arts puts their collective wisdom into practice.
