Work Orders
Registered student organizations may place work orders through Student Activities and Leadership Development (SALD) in order to obtain items such as tables, chairs, trash receptacles, platforms and other resources to facilitate events on campus.
To create a work order, an authorized representative must fill out an Agreement of Charges Form and submit it to Cindy Martindale, Student Organization Facilities Coordinator.
It is best to begin the work order process as early as possible in the event planning process. The latest that a work order will be accepted is four working days prior to the event.
Work orders are completed by Physical Plant and charges will apply for many of the services.
If you are working with another university department (e.g., The Texas Union, The McCombs School of Business), have an authorized representative of your organization contact Cindy Martindale to determine if SALD or another university department will process the work order.
