Student Activities and Leadership Development
SALD helps students make the most of their college experience through involvement in student organizations. Whether you would like to join an existing student organization or begin a new one, we have the resources and staff to help you make it happen. We encourage you to learn about the services we provide, the leadership opportunities available to all students, and the SALD Staff! Many of your questions may be answered on this Web site but we welcome you to stop by our office (SSB 4.400) anytime with your questions, ideas or concerns. As educators, Student Activities and Leadership Development (SALD) serves students by facilitating their growth, passion, and enthusiasm through involvement in student organizations and co-curricular activities in conjunction with the Office of the Dean of Students and the university community. SALD advocates for student organizations by providing guidance and support within the framework of the institutional rules while creating an inclusive community and sense of belonging for all students.
