Throughout the academic year there are opportunities to build your leadership skills by attending programs and workshops sponsored by SALD. Check out one of UT Leadership Board's programs if you are interested in learning about leadership and UT resources. LEAP - Leadership Education And Progress is an 8-week program geared towards 1st and 2nd year students that fosters the development of leadership skills through workshops and upper-class mentors. Registration for this spring program is in the fall. And you don't want to miss Forty Acres Fest, because everyone will be talking about it Monday morning in class.
SALD takes great pride in its work to support the educational mission of the University with the opportunity it offers through the incredibly diverse organizations we support. Stop by our office (SSB 4.400) anytime with your questions, ideas or concerns.
