| Alpha Epsilon Delta - Premed | To encourage excellence in premedical scholarship; to promote cooperation and contact between premedical students and educators in premedical and medical schools in developing an adequate program of premedical education; to expose the student to many firsthand views of medicine for aiding in the final decision of his or her future; to expose students to medical schools of Texas, as well as the life of a medical student. | We bring in medical speakers including doctors from a variety of specialities, medical school admissions personnel, panel of students already in medical school and application preparation workshops. We offer many volunteer opportunities exclusive to AED, including the Skippy program at Children's Hospital of Austin, Hospice volunteering, and Project Reach Out and Read. | Alpha Lambda Delta - Freshmen | The purpose of the society shall be to encourage superior scholastic attainment among women and men in their first year in institutions of higher education; to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals in life. | Two initiations are held, one in the Fall for those students who have become eligible the preceeding semester(s), and one in the spring for those freshman students who have become eligible in the Fall semester. | Beta Alpha Psi | Beta Alpha Psi is a national honor society for financial information students and professionals. We aim to promote the study and practice of accounting and finance; provide opportunities for self-development, service and association among members and practicing professionals; and encourage a sense of ethical, social and public responsibilities. | Company Presentations- Recruiters come to give professional presentations about their company, and the opportunities for students within that firm. Company Dinners- Representatives come to dine with members and recruit prospective candidates for their company. | Consortium Fellows Business Association | CFBA's purpose is to organize the collective efforts of Consortium fellows around maximizing their relationship with current and potential Consortium for Graduate Study in Management and corporate partners. | CFBA's focus is on securing continued funding for UT fellowships and guaranteeing corporate interest in hiring fellows for full-time and internship opportunities. As such, CFBA's major activities include orientation for new fellows, corporate receptions for current fellows, phone-a-thon fund raising among UT consortium alumni, and the creation of a CFBA resume book. |

| Kappa Rho Pre-Medical Honors Society | Kappa Rho was founded in 2010 to bring women together who are interested in medicine and to give them the opportunity to explore that interest while meeting and making friends with people who have the same goals. Our goal is to create a medical society built upon the principles of leadership, academic excellence, service, community involvement, and a profound interest in the sciences. | Major activities undertaken by Kappa Rho include doctor shadowing, volunteering in local hospitals, and visiting medical schools. We also make it a priority to be active and informed in the campus and local Austin community, especially in health related issues.
