Purpose: Food Studies is a student initiated project to raise awareness about the importance of understanding food from a interdisciplinary approach. Our vision is the creation of a Food Studies Institute at The University of Texas at Austin to complement a variety of academic disciplines.

Membership: Help promote the study of food in college.

Functions: Publish diverse blog posts exploring food studies, lunch socials to discuss weekly meetings for program development and faculty lectures.
