The conference is meant to be a biannual event, though we wish to leave room for expansion of the group's mission if future students have the desire to expand its academic activities. |
| Davis Moon Project- Texas Student Chapter INACTIVE | To support a non profit sector- The Davis Moon Project- whose cause is to increase literacy and educational opportunities in a third world country- Ethiopia. | Delete Blood Cancer-DKMS Longhorn Chapter | To host at least one bone marrow swabbing drive on campus and/or in the community during each academic semester. | DKMS will work with the international DKMS bone marrow registry in order to host swabbing drives, which are intended to register participants in the national bone marrow matching registry. Swabbing is completely optional, and is painless, requiring only a quick wipe of the inside of a participant's cheek. |
| Dell Scholars Program at the University of Texas at Austin | The Dells Scholars Program has three goals: (1) to give personal support, (2) obtain professional development, and (3) to give back to the community. These goals are achieved by (1) connecting with other scholars, balancing life and school, (2) knowing ones personal brand, having a career plan, (3) giving back with the scholar community and the community at large. | We will hold community service activities planned for the semester, hold meetings to get updates on projects assigned to the members, and have lunch/dinner gatherings. |

The major programs of the sorority are based upon our organizations Five Point Programmatic Thrust; which consists of Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, Political Awareness and Involvement. Ultimately, we are a sisterhood called to serve. | A few of our programs consist of Ice Breaker, our annual step show that showcases the beauty of African American Greek culture. We also host an annual Women's Retreat, a weekend retreat designed to help develop the mind, body, and spirit of females on UT's campus. | Diamond Way Buddhist Meditation Group | Diamond Way Buddhism provides a practical Western approach to Tibetan Buddhism that one can use in daily life. Each year, registered student organizations self-identify according to the following twelve categories:
- Educational/Departmental Organizations promote development in a particular academic area.
- Honorary Organizations recognize high-level academic achievement, and generally require a demonstrated interest in a particular career or academic discipline.
- International/Cultural Organizations foster cultural diversity and offer support to their members and the campus community.
- Legislative Student Organizations Graduate Student Assembly, Senate of College Councils and Student Government.
- Political Organizations support political parties, political issues and/or candidates who are seeking political office.
- Professional Organizations provide a preview of students' anticipated professional careers. Group activities may include speakers, field trips and volunteer or field work.
- Recreational Organizations promote sports-oriented programs and/or recreational activities.
- Religious Organizations serve as support for students of a particular religious persuasion or denomination.
- Service Organizations provide volunteers for on-campus and off-campus projects. Membership requirements generally include a commitment to work for and/or an interest in a particular cause.
- Social Organizations foster social networks among members.
- Special Interest Organizations focus on a specific issue or topic.
- Student Governance Organizations address student needs and express student views.
