Student Organization Travel - InternationalRegistered student organizations at The University of Texas at Austin are required to complete important documentation prior to travel.
All registered student organizations must coordinate and obtain approval for international travel from the International Office to ensure compliance with the UT Austin Travel Policy. If the registered student organization is a sponsored student organization, they must also coordinate with their sponsoring department as prescribed by the UT Austin Travel Policy. You are also advised to review the university's policy on Travel to Restricted Regions and check the Restricted Regions List. Travel to restricted regions requires special authorization.
Special Events Health Insurance is required for uninsured students who travel to university-organized or university-sponsored events, or when travel is required by registered student organizations. This short-term accident and sickness insurance is offered by the Student Insurance Division.
