Safety Education Program

How-to Guide (docx)

In accordance with Texas Education Code, Section 51.9361, the Office of the Dean of Students has developed an annual safety education program for select registered student organizations at The University of Texas at Austin. Affected registered student organizations are mandated by law to participate in the program annually. Student Activities' Program Safety Education Services administers the program, which is designed to facilitate compliance with the statute and to help ensure a positive, safe environment for students and registered student organizations.

The registered student organizations and sponsored student organizations required to participate are assigned a specific semester (fall or spring) in which to complete the program.
