About Student Activities
Student Activities in the Office of the Dean of Students provides several services to support to the over 1,100 registered student organizations on campus. At the beginning of each semester, Student Activities registers all student organizations and maintains a student organization database that lists contact information, organization purpose, membership requirements and functions. Student Activities offers many services to student organizations, providing information through its publications, training through its workshops, one-on-one consultations and event planning support.
One of the most important benefits of being a registered student organization is access to Student Activities who can assist with program planning, risk management, conflict resolution, fundraising and other issues related to your student organization.

- Interpretation of UT Austin's Institutional Rules
