Student Organization Fair FAQs

What is a Student Organization Fair?
An event that provides registered student organizations an opportunity to introduce their organization to new incoming students.

When is the Student Organization Fair held?
The Student Organization Fair is held during each of the Summer Orientation sessions, starting early-June through mid-July from 5-6 p.m.

Who can register an organization for participation in the event?
To register to participate in the Student Organization Fair, you must be an authorized representative. To update contact information or re-register or to initiate a new organization click here. Please contact the Student Organization Center (SOC) at 512-471-3065 for further information.

Does my organization need to be a registered organization to participate in the Student Organization Fair?
Yes, organizations must be in good standing and registered with the SOC to be eligible to participate in the fair.

What are the guidelines to participating at the Student Organization Fair?

Who do I contact if my organization has registered for one of the Student Organization Fair sessions and is unable to attend?
Notify New Student Services at 512-471-3304 by noon on the Friday prior to your confirmed date. Failure to provide prior notification will result in the forfeit of your remaining tabling dates.

Does my organization need to provide its own table for this event?
Each participating organization will be provided with one 6-foot table and two folding chairs. You may not use your own tables.

How do I register my organization?
Fill out the Application for the Student Organization Fair. Space is limited and is filled on a first-come, first-reserved basis.
