Can you picture yourself as an Orientation Advisor?
The New Student Services area of the Office of the Dean of Students is looking for a diverse group of students to develop, plan and execute the 2010 Summer Orientation program.
If you are looking for a fun and rewarding leadership opportunity, working with a diverse and socially conscious group of campus leaders, consider applying to become an Orientation Advisor (OA). OAs are important representatives for all incoming students - they are among the first people new students and families meet!
Interested students should plan to attend one of the following information sessions to obtain an application:

8:30 - 9:30 p.m., Jester Auditorium (JES) A121A -
Wednesday, October 21, 2009
5:30 - 6:30 p.m., Robert A. Welch Hall (WEL) 1.316 -
Sunday, October 25, 2009
8:30 - 9:30 p.m., Jester Auditorium (JES) A121A
If you are unable to attend one of the above meetings, please contact New Student Services for an appointment to obtain an application.
Complete applications are due by noon on Thursday, November 5, 2009, so please allow ample time to complete your application.
After submitting your application to New Student Services, you must sign up to attend Orientation Advisor Selection on Sunday, November 15, 2009. There is an initial application screening process, therefore, there is no guarantee that all candidates will receive an invitation to the Selection Day. If you are not chosen, we will contact you before 5 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2009. The time and location for the selection process will be provided to those who submit completed applications.
