Introducing...the one and only

Introducing me...Joe Nathan Anderson, Jr. SO let’s get all the basic information out of the way first and then move on to more juicy information. Lol! I am from Dallas, Texas (interestingly enough I am a HUGE Rockets fan), this is my third year here at the University, and my major is Youth and Community Studies.

Some of you may ask me why I chose to become a blogger and the answer is simple; I want to be able to help those who have so many questions about college life, because I know I was terrified of college when I first came in. I think it’s a conspiracy to terrify high school seniors about the evils of college, but once you get here, you will find that it’s not that bad. But enough of that. So on any given day you will either see me with a book in my hand or writing in my journal. I have recently become addicted to buying books on Amazon. That site is AMAZING. The books are so cheap. I think I’m in love...with Amazon.com. They even send me a list of all the new releases every month. That’s amazing!

On a sad note, I have four tests over a four week period. I’m glad that I have them spread out, but that’s the problem. I can’t do anything over the next four weekends except study. This is not the way that I envisioned this semester. That is one of the two things that I don’t like about my classes. The other problem I have with them is that they’re catered to people who want to teach young children. I’m in the College of Education but I want to work with college students. Not knocking anyone who wants to work with kids, it’s just not for me.

Unfortunately I have to say good-bye...I’m typing this while I’m at work but now I have some stuff to do, so I have to wrap this up. Feel free to e-mail me any questions that you have but just remember that I am a student and I work as well, so I may not be the best at responding but I will try my hardest to e-mail you back in a timely fashion. At the end of every blog I will leave a random fact about me, because I’m kinda random so here it goes:

*I have enough T-Shirts to go two and a half months without washing a shirt at all...*

PROCRASTINATION!!!!!

So I had the entire weekend to do this project, but I waited until the day before it was due to finally start it. I need to work on this thing called procrastination because it only makes my life a lot harder...LOL!
