Come to an Orientation Session, and we'll take care of the rest! Our friendly staff will answer all your questions about UT Austin, help you become acquainted with UT Austin, register for classes, take placement tests, get to know your fellow classmates, meet with a representative from your college/school and find ways to have fun! You will have the opportunity to meet with an academic advisor, obtain your student ID and upgrade your UT EID, set up your e-mail account, and learn about how you can get involved at UT Austin.

- Offers fall-admitted freshmen and transfer students the earliest opportunity to register for classes
- Consists of 6 two-and-a-half day sessions for fall freshmen and 3 one-and-a-half day sessions for transfer students, scheduled from early June through mid-July each year (subject to change)
