Order of Omega

Order of Omega is a national fraternity that seeks to recognize outstanding fraternity and sorority men and women who have excelled in academic and leadership endeavors. This Greek leadership honorary recognizes juniors and seniors who have displayed outstanding scholarship, involvement and leadership within the campus community. The University of Texas' Order of Omega is a chapter within the National Order of Omega.

The National Order of Omega was founded at the University of Miami in the fall of 1959 by a group of outstanding fraternity men, who felt that individuals in the Greek community should be recognized for their service to the fraternity system and the University.

Each year this organization also organizes our Order of Omega Awards. The awards recognize individual and organizational excellence in areas such as risk management education and programming, scholarship, and leadership development.
