TAPC Recruiting
TAPC membership recruitment takes place in both the Fall and Spring semesters. During the second week of school each semester, TAPC sororities hand out fliers in West mall and Jester to interested women. The rush period lasts the entire week and is intended to simulate the experience of being a member of a TAPC organization. The week may include a service project, mixer, and sisterhood event. Potential new members must submit applications and be interviewed in order to receive a bid.
The membership intake process lasts an entire semester. There is a formal presentation to family, friends, etc. following crossover. Crossover refers to the special ceremony a chapter holds for new members to become initiated members of the chapter.
