Academic Deans and Student Services by College/School

At The University of Texas at Austin, each college and school is headed by an academic dean. Students who need assistance with academic planning and advising, tutoring or who have questions or concerns about academic policies and procedures, graduation requirements, grade disputes or other grievances, adding or dropping a class, academic status or withdrawing from the university should contact the Academic Affairs (Student Affairs, Student Services, Advising) Office within their college.

In addition to answering questions, the Office of the Dean of Students is available to assist students with concerns related to student conduct, academic integrity and emergency services.
